When you have been married for a long time And you still love your spouse as much as you ever Did. You live in hope and you will try anything to Save your marriage You never think that it might be holding on to A dream of hope.
Are you in a marriage that don't seem right? To afraid to say anything as it might start a fight. No sign of affection not even a kiss The little things we don't do are the ones that I miss A barrier in bed a pillow or a quilt is it something I have done I'm so full of guilt You fall into a routine and time passes by But to try and save my marriage I will give Anything a try. .

My heart ached as I read these words...such pain, desperation, and grief over things lost. This last is true of many marriages: You fall into a routine and time passes by. A dull routine can be a marriage's demise...powerful poem, Paul! Have a lovely evening, Sara
