Kissed My Bride

Alone, I angle to her open pine box set atop the stately dining table. There she lies as if she could now see naked, starkly she stares up at me. Full chestnut hair freshly flown by mythic breeze. For two hours she has waited breathlessly, her lips pursed like an ingenue seductively. Does one's death render the final order? I then lean in to kiss her lips, one sweet kiss from me will be her telling gift for all eternity. With breathy coy coaxing she begs me in. Have I no faith that my kiss can set us free? Her breasts are still supple and poised my tears trickle toward her tiny waist. Her back is slightly bowed just so, both legs draped away like lingerie. Slipped my sobbing spike gently in to seal her sensual sarcophagus. Our ghastly lastly earthly embrace. Later that day, they found us both naked there. Kissed my bride deep inside. Then the chaos ensued. 23 Lines Free Verse 166 Words
