Kiss of Sunshine
I am a grand yellow flower
Feeling so forlorn
Jack Frost just nipped me
Now I am bent and torn
My head is flopping over
No strength in my stem
Need a little bit of sun
To warm the chill within
What’s that I see above me
I am sure I saw the sun
Here I am, here I am, I shout
Kissing will be fun
I smile now as my head lifts
No longer bent that’s good
Been kissed by the sun all day
No longer need plant food
What is my name I am asking
Lifting my sun kissed head to you
I am the pride of Wales
A smiling daffodil that’s true.
