Hi Teddy...great interpretation on your national symbol, I think the Masai warriors are more than adequately represented here as well...now being a runner, I admire the Kenyans for their incredible abilities, so much so that I named my son Kenya. Besides that, you have a deep Eastern African culture and an obvious love for nature *******(:heers, Tbang

It is difficult when the colonial powers did everything to destroy the honours and history of before. Research and restore the pride of the nation. Kind regards, Ian

On the optimistic side, peace is slowly settling in, except for some terror factions.

You are very right Ian! I normally share the same sentiments as you do when it comes to boundaries. Luckily for Europe the boundaries were built out of mutual understanding amongst countries, though there were some wars. For Africa, boundaries were "forced".

Difficult but true, positive progress forwards for the next generations. I think that another difficulty is when lines were drawn on maps in Europe without respect to clan boundaries and traditions it laid the foundations of conflict from the very beginning which still have to be resolved and the shared memories of the diaspora. Every worth while journey starts with a map? Ian

The only noble thing we can do is to forgive past deeds and reincarnate our traditional history through arts, language, and literature. It will only work if we believe.

Thank you very much for your inspiration Ian! It seems that's the nature of the animal kingdom. As animals with conscience, we dominate over weaker civilizations and societies. All the same, I try to live by the Zen quote "No snowflake falls at the wrong place". There is no way we can fight what is to happen.
