Keep the Ink Flowing
We have all had to start somewhere
picking up your pen by your hand
putting down on paper as the mind speaks
hoping to achieve something real grand
At first others may think you don't have it
but persevere on in yourself believe
for one day your efforts will bear fruit
at the right moment the seed will conceive
You may have your ups and downs
but ink won't stay forever dry
shake it blow it even spill it
for it must never be allowed to die
Believe in the gift you've been given
stand up and don't let the pen slip
remember it's your personnel ink writer
make sure you hold it's grip
Inspiration will surely come to you
keep the candle lighted all aglow
watch your hand move on the paper
so the ink will for ever flow
(this is based on the following quote:
'Inspiration is like the air, it always free! but deadly expensive when you breathless, if you know what I mean . Someone somewhere could be in stressed, holding their pen hopeless. Will you be the light in the dark?')
