Kaleidoscopic Kite
I am kaleidoscopic kite
soaring high~
'neath August sky
whilst children cheer
as I cuddle
cotton clouds
and glide deep down
myrtle mountains.
I soar ~
I flap ~
yet unafraid
for I am free
to enjoy summer's spree
in the comfort of your hands.
Hold my string
not so tight,
not so loose
and never let me go.
