An dünnen Zweigen Aus dunklem Grün leuchtendes Rot Zeit für die Ernte Flinke Finger pflücken reife Kirschen Schnell füllen sich die Bilums ------------------------------------------- On thin branches Out of dark green a brilliantt red It's time for harvest Nimble fingers picking ripe cherries The bilums are quickly filled ----------------------------------------- En ramas delgadas Del verde oscuro un rojo brillante Tiempo para la cosecha Ágiles dedos cogen cerezas maduras Rápidamente se llenan las bilums Note: In Papua New Guinea the ripe coffee cherries are collected in big bilums which are string bags mainly made from natural fibers of certain lianas or knottet from artificial material.

Do the workers get caffeine in their body when handling the beans? People who work in tobacco get tobacco sickness when they first start to work in the fields so a friend of mine told me when she married a tobacco farmer...Interesting write..Keep the creative pen flowing..Sara
