Just To

Another night, spaghetti just for one. My hand is empty as I watch the setting of the sun I wasn't kicked in my sleep, no one latched onto me. No hair in my face, making it itch. I don't call on the phone because there's no one that I miss Every day, it is the same. This place is all too quiet and everyday, this hole to fill Love I'd like to try it To love and be loved is my dream of all I really need. To love and be loved a wondrous dream of and in it is, where I want to be To wake up in the morning and not be alone. To have someone there, to share in my home. To be missed when I'm away. It would be so much more fun if, someone else was here to play. To love and be loved, I'd love it so much. To love and be loved with a great warming touch. And I know that I would that I'd be good and that I can If someone was here Just someone here to hold my hand. Write letters in crayon my light it would stay on Dinners for two with a candle lit view of our staring eyes Long walks together butterflies felt forever and right where we are there's a bright shooting star lighting up our skies There's so much more, more than I could ever say And I would give all I had just to feel that way To love and be loved a far off dream of. To love and be loved. Maybe if I want it If I want it just enough.

"Maybe if I want it...if I want it just enough." Great ending to this yearning. The desire, then the hope. Enjoyed this one a lot. Congrats on the selection. daver
