Just Some Sun
In a transient instant,
I savored the ambrosial essence of bliss, witnessed the dawn adorning,
the skyline with tints of optimism.
In that ephemeral moment,
I felt an affinity with mankind.
Yet a sinister shroud eclipsed that glint,
dragging me back into my chasm of gloom.
It was as though I was a monstrous entity,
for whom such mundane delights,
were not ordained.
Am I destined,
to perpetually be shrouded,
in the entrails of despair and desolation?
Am I condemned to everlasting isolation,
my sole companions,
the reverberating voices within me?
Why am I deprived of the comfort,
of mental serenity?
Why does the world,
impose upon me such malevolence,
to face humanity not as kin,
but as a repugnant plague?
