Just Saw a Muslim Woman

I know, I know that we are fighting wars with a Muslim nation The other day a young woman with a kerchief smiled at me What am I to make of this? How shall I proceed with my Zionist ambitions Night is coming - and blesses sleep Before I go to Dreamland I'll give a quick thought to peace Shalom, shalom, SHALOM

What happened in the past should be left in the past. Unfortunately too many won't let go and forget. It prevents us to see that we are brothers and sisters under the same God. I pray for peace indeed. Shalom, Salaam and peace to you. Yours in poetry, Caroline.

matt, I hope I can take time one day to look it up, that Darkling book. My problem is that I am always so tired trying to catch up on Soup late at night. anything out of the ordinary I dont dare take the time for. Do you have hectic work weeks and then relaxing weekends? Even my weekends are becoming CRAZY these days!!

Good little poem on simply seeing a human for being another human like oneself! Shalom!

Peace is all the matters, Matt. She's just your "neighbor". She gave you a smile in that moment and time..a gift to take with you through your day and remind you that love is the key to conquer all wrongs, all evil. Hope you're doing well. Always, Annalise

It's really all about individuals when it comes to extending a smile or a courtesy, Matthew. Even when we are at war with other nations, we can still be kind to their civilians living in the United States. Well said! Love, Carolyn
