I've opened my mind with alcohol But now I must sleep My mind tilts and turns but never tips Musicality lilts with words that don't leave my lips I'm tired but awake in a place of slumber Troubles try but don't encumber When my eyes do eventually shut I hope my dreams from my sleep are cut My mind needs a word, it's a hellish friend I swear it'll send me round the bend If we doubled down, made a plan They'll be no can't, always can Yeah, I'm fed up of writing this I have now, heavy eyelids So off to sleep I'll send heart and mind Let's hope I wake up feeling kind
