Just One More Day

I have a lot of things for you to say; I have lots of wishes for you to pray. If only I could see you just one more day, To be with you, that's a pleasure to me. I would like to tell you how lucky I am, To have you by my side almost all the time. I will go with you wherever you want to go, I will do everything that you want me to do. I thank you for the time you shared with me, For the happy moments we're like crazy. If only just one more day I could see you, I will spend the whole day just being with you. I will hold your hand and never let go, Freezing the time if possible, I'll do. I will hug you and tell you how much I love you, Embrace the moment, like there's no more tomorrow. When the time will come for you to say goodbye, I know that I will hold back tears in my eye. I will understand why did you have to leave. It would be the best for you I do believe. Even though pain remains in a part of my heart; But happy memories fill up the empty part. I know that up there you are watching at me, Smiling as I reminisce those happy day. You will laugh at me when I done something crazy, And reminding me always not to be lazy. So if I could see you just one more day, I'd really like that to happen today. Just to let you know how important you are to me, You are my Best friend, my Playmate and beloved Buddy. ********* I wrote this for my beloved childhood best friend who passed away last 2003. I wasn't there when he left. He is always be the best buddy that I ever had.
