Just One More Day
Just One More Day
One more chance, oh please don't let him die
I don't understand, and they won't tell me why
Just one more chance to see your face
To walk with you in our special place
Just one chance, just more day
Before I watch all over again as you slip away
One day so I could see your smile
One thousand two hundred thirty-six miles
One more day, and I would try
To get to you before you die
One more chance to get it right
One more day and one more night
I don't know what I'd do or say
But all I want is one more day
But I didn't go, I couldn't go that far
Not 1,236 miles without a car
So I stayed here and you stayed there
And died thinking I didn't care
Simon says, Simon says, I don't know what to say
Simon says, Simon says, Just one more day
