Just once

I’d like the phone to not ring before 8:30
Or after nine at night,
With someone wanting something;
Hey, I’m not a Bank, or an ambulance,
Nor do I run a Taxi service,
Though I sometimes feel that’s the case;
As I sat here feeling sorry for the stressful situation
I find myself in God has just given me this scripture,
“For unto whomsoever much is given,
Of him shall be much required” *
Forgive me Lord.
