Just hold your cat horses

My cat's jumping at the bit. She's wired at the gate.. She's throwing a whiney fit, because her out doors time is late.. Punctual to the minute she won't tolerate a hitch. She lacks patience for my personal needs, if they impose a scheduling glitch.. "Let me eat this banana. It's in need of edible reckoning, so bruised, so brown, it's no longer beckoning." If nature calls abruptly I say, "I have to go". The whines grow more persistent. It irritates me so.. Cats have a variety of expressive vocal choices. Some times I just raise my voice and shout, "just hold your cat horses"!
