Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received, without cost you are to give. St. Matthew 10:8
We live in a quid-pro-quo society Help me and I’ll help you I can help you get a better job Lose weight and learn a new skill, but it’ll cost you How radical then To be directed to help others Simply because we can With no expectation of a return Father Christ wants us to do Share our gifts Without thought of receiving Spiritually, Emotionally or Financially The amazing thing when we act in Father Christ’s name We are repaid for more than we could ever imagined In love, faith And growth on our spiritual journeys Lord, help me to love the way you desire Unreservedly with no expectation No reward 4212014
