Just Friends-My Conundrum
Just friends, you say are you and I.
For you, I'll try, but it's untrue.
I care for you. I can't say why.
Oh, how can I, when I'm near you?
You reach for me with warm embrace
I lose my grace within your arms,
enchanted arms. I just can't face
this lonely space without your charms.
For you, I'll try to be a friend
but in the end you'll always know
how close I'll grow, my minuend,
if life I spend within your glow.
For who are you and what am I
when lost am I in your blue eyes.
My heart's disguise, for you I'll lie,
and won't ask why, through tear filled guise.
