Just Down the Road
Out there I had this wonderful great life
But money did not erase the pains I had.
Perhaps I wasn’t just on the right road
Being young I barrel through life
Making choices without thinking of
Repercussions, so went down the road.
Then kept growing, lucky and blessed
Maybe somewhere along the right road.
My destination was not hell so why I line
Of course, it was heaven why line again.
I have experienced a thin line between,
Pain and pleasure, comedy and tragedy.
I don’t know anything about music
In my line you don’t have to know.
I am at the end of the line in theatricals
As theatres have died in my lifetime.
I changed the road though very late
Got into a line of deep personal interest
I really enjoyed spending many hours
Thinking, reading, writing, making
Private word public, with muse awake
That is what many poets would do it,
I have kept my mind on bottom line.
