Just Another Dream

Last night I dropped a dream It turned into a moonbeam I tried so hard to chase its hue And then I looked, it became a dew Too soft to hold and crystal pure Fell on a flower, so demure As the Night in silent serenade Watched the tiny moonbeam slowly fade Then with the light of coming Dawn I woke, the dream, like mist had gone! I tried to recall if the dream was mine But the Day had turned it into sunshine.
