Just a Young Cowboy

I would like to ask you to dance But I'm a little shy I would like to call you baby An' look you in the eye I'll bet you that we could two-step An' have a real good time An' I could write you a poem An' say some words that rhyme I could teach you to ride a hoss Then gaze at stars above Smell that fresh mountain air at night An' talk of things like love But then I'm just a young cowboy An' I don't know such things Still I'd like to call you baby An' see if that song sings December 2016
