Just a Question
Shouldn’t we ask, if we do not understand?
Shouldn’t we say, if we see you lose your way?
Shouldn’t we talk, if we have a word to say?
Or should we die in silence, as you tap into our veins?
Shouldn’t we say, what we see you do?
Shouldn’t we talk, of your selfish choices?
Shouldn’t we speak, when you are darkening our future?
Or should we watch in silence, as you take away our freedom?
Shouldn’t we say, of those pigs in your backyard?
Shouldn’t we speak, of those looters on your side?
Shouldn’t we point, those blood suckers in your court?
Or should we watch in silence, and wait to be chewed?
Shouldn’t we talk, when our freedom is stolen?
Shouldn’t we speak, when our farms are grabbed?
Shouldn’t we cry out, when our very livelihood is taken?
Or should we watch in silence, as we starve to death?
