Just a Peek

Just a peek inside my window there's a touch I let you be a place with good intentions come on in and set me free You're the warmth upon my pillow the mist held nearer my cheek my moments brought in the ever after you're the only angel that I seek There's a candle on the mantel burning bright so we can see the other side of my moonlight where your flickers dance for me

Timmy, I'm a sucker for a good rhyme and this is better than that. Please write more rhymes. This particular form seems to go unappreciated by the Poetry Elite but it sure hits home to the rest of us. God Bless

The heat from that candle flame doesn't burn as hot as your chosen words, Tim. Your attached song would play beautiful background music to a night such as this one...dancing shadows in the dark, on "the other side of my moonlight..." perfectly expressed passion and love. Sighing over this favorite one.
