Just a Little Fun
It sprinkles down, its falling fast
My heart, it leaps, I hope it lasts
Snow comes and disappears
gone forever such a waste
Never the less I increase my pace
I must make haste
The world i see covered in white
Shining in the dark, eye watery bright
untouched snow, just glittering on the ground
No life around it, seems to be found
The urge to run and jump and play
Hits me like the force of day
My head it tells me, I must go home
But my heart and legs want to roam
just a little fun? what harm can it do
After all, all the snow will be gone soon
I made two snow balls and stuck them together
They sat on the bench, in this lovely weather
I made a mini snowman out of dirt sticks and stones
Before my head marched me, my heart and legs home.
