Judging You
Judging You
Some days it just don't matter
the choices that you're choosing.
Cause it's not really up to you
if you're winning or you're losing.
There's someone waiting in the wings
watching what you got.
Telling you the things you are
and all the things you're not.
You step up to the plate in life,
you dare to take a swing.
Turning to the one you love
they didn't see a thing.
Not budging while their judging you
it's been that way for years.
They turn away not much to say
ignoring all your tears.
Somewhere lost along the way
at someone else's whim.
You can't find what's left of you
cause all that's left is them.
You pray someday the sun will shine
and somehow they'll be able.
To see the difference you have made,
what you bring to the table.
Pretending never ending
it don't matter, you don't mind.
Never knowing never showing
all this time that they've been blind.
