Joy of the Child
What is the joy of a child?
All the world is new,
Each moment,
An eternity,
Of untold wonders.
Life is limitless,
Each day is new,
With potential unknown,
And secrets to be had.
Good and bad are moments,
Free from memories,
And their cruel chains,
Haunting everything.
What is the joy of a child?
It is everything,
We have learned,
Not to be.
