Joy Everlasting
You’re smiling now-
Of course you are
You’re head is in the clouds
The world is still-the birds are singing
And everything is how everything should be
I wish that smile would never fade
I wish the birds would never fly away
I wish, but this is life-and life is ever running
Life is ever becoming something new
Tomorrow a storm my frighten the sun
And tomorrow a cold wind might blow
Then what of your smile?
Will it just slip away-?
No, Life is not easy-it never claimed to be
But life is crueler to some then others
Because the some depend of their surroundings to smile
And the others smile because of what they have inside
In rain, in cold, in fear, in death-others will smile
For joy is entwined in their souls-a part of their every breath
And joy is eternal-when it comes from within
And has been placed within by the King
