Jet
Jet
How you used to romp and play
a new adventure everyday
I still remember you that way
hello, my friend.
The places where we used to stroll
without you, it was tough to go
somehow we touched each others’ soul
you were a valued friend.
You saw me at my worst and best
your loyalty surpassed the rest
you were my best psychiatrist
I miss our talks my friend.
Sometimes it’s hard to comprehend
when all our lives must surely end
memories helped my heart to mend
you’ll always be a treasured friend
*******************
Heaven held a place for you,
in my heart I hold one too
None will ever take your place
Goodbye my friend
