Jesus Walks This Fair Earth
Jesus walked this fair earth
so many eons ago
He stepped in leather sandals
and walked lightly upon the earth
He spoke softly of many things
and He rose on angels wings
so His disciples could testify
He healed with the touch of His hands
and spoke throughout the land
Jesus walked this fair earth
so many eons ago
but, now i think He walks it still
and watches in disguise
He fills His book with names
He knows each of His creations
and knows how to judge
He knows how to succor
He knows how to rescue
Each time a blessing comes unnoticed
He sent it that way
so one day
we would discover
that He still walks this fair earth
as He did so many eons ago.
