Jasmine, yes, they're mine; so sweet on their vine.
Tiny flowers fragrance that smells divine.
From the ground its vine stretches, climbs, and weaves
It's self-round the white trellis up to the eaves.
For the moment, it enjoys the sunshine,
As one twig-arm reaches upward to dine.
It's glossy and deepest evergreen, leaves
And white pinwheel flowers, breathless it leaves.
I walk through the shadows of the petite
blooms, their scent; welcome memories I greet.
