Jar of Dreams
Closed within
Submerged in a bin
Lay my dreams
Enveloped in screams
Little by little , the jar broke
And the dreams spoke
Replaced by a new path
One that I could never follow without facing wrath
Had I listened to my heart and not to you ,
The forgotten dreams would rise anew
Alas! I was blinded by the greed
An unhealthy obsession to breed
For now , the jar has a different glow
As fragile as the wind's blow
A wrong step is all it takes
For the earth to quake and your heart to ache
