You stuck to the 5 7 5 format in these haiku - which is all to the good. I am glad the winter is over. It was very harsh this year in NYC. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I know these winter scenes all too well, Jan, and I am very glad that spring has finally arrived and decided to stay. Very nice imagery in just these six short lines. Great work! Good luck in SKAT's contest! :)

Lovely. The way you have captured this wintery scene with a haiku is very inspiring. If only I had the right colors to paint with, I would've done an accompanying portrait made exclusively for you and your January Haiku, Jan. I'll keep that project in mind and make it materialize soon. You inspire me a lot. :)
