JAMES III Please forgive me, oh Lord, I pray, If my words have hurt someone, today. Hasty words are often spoken, That cause spirits to be broken. Oh Lord, teach me from this day, To let you control each word I say. Let my words cause no one pain, But let them magnify your name. May my words uplifting be, To all those who are around me. As are yours upon my ear, When I know that you are near. If my words have hurt one soul, To be more kind must be my goal. Please forgive me, oh Lord, I pray, If my words have hurt someone, today.
