Jaded Love
The pain created was stated as the night faded
and my love was jaded…
I knew you would leave and my soul would
wither into nothingness as the light
became our distant retreat. For love
knows no boundaries, yet you
left without warning. A life without you, is a
life lost and a I am left
penniless without the cost. Free me, my sweet,
I am in need of your salvation.
Need me, my love, for I am desperate for adoration.
Below your realm I thirsted for touches so
tender and above your body I craved
kisses of surrender. May you bring me chartreuse lilies
from the floral garden of your soul.
May I hear you sing for only me, as your gentle
love makes me whole.
For I am made to love you, my sweet.
I will forever drown in your delicate retreat.
