Jack Frost
Just looking out the window at the snow and ice
Against the house the drifts are mounting
Catching a fleeting ray of sunshine I see
Kisses of winter on the window pane
From my spot by a warm and cozy hearth
Return fond memories of skating on the frozen lake
Our winter visit with Old Jack Frost continues
So I take time to remember summer, but
Today a perfect day to read to write, to dream….
