Jack Ellison

He’s convinced me he’s eighty years old, and he must be with the stories he’s told, many border on rude, but none I’d call crude, from the man with a heart of pure gold.

Ahh!! Cute one honoring or not Jack..Thanks for stopping by..I was shocked when I looked for a picture and found those colorful diapers..I had the old thin kind and had to put two together plus I used those plastic pants to contain the wet..It was hard making sure that there was enough to take care of the two for a day but I got through..The disposable kind are nice but they sure are expensive..Sara

G'day Sara... thanks for your comment Sara, and yes, young Jack deserves his accolades for brightening up so many days. I'm glad that you got through the day. We've got two little-uns spending Easter with us, but they're out of nappies thank God. Lindsay

G'day John... Jack did mention that he was pinning this to a wall. Knowing Jack, it'll be used as a dart board. ha-ha - Thanks John - Lindsay

Your Jack Ellison is my Red Lambert, Lindsay. Thanks for bringing him back from the grave for a few . . remembering the gruff outer persona that harbored a heart of gold. I like your Jack, just as you might have liked my Red.

Hello Diane... I'm pleased that you could make a comparison between Jack and your Red, Diane because that's the way I and poets like yourself like to write... to offer the readers something that has or is part of their life. Thank you Diane, I do appreciate your comment - Lindsay
