Jack
Do you see that lonely man
Just talking to himself
I bet a buck, he's lived a life
Once consumed by wealth
Look at how his dressed today
That suit would not be cheap
His shoes do seem to match his hat
The colours are quite deep
Yet there he sits, all alone
What happened in his life
Does he have a home to go
Does he have a wife
I wonder if I talked to him
Would he answer back
Tell the story of his life
I know his name is Jack
One day I will sit near him
I'll offer first a smile
Then see if he will give one back
We might just chat awhile
Though now today he isn't here
An empty chair I see
I missed my chance, he now is gone
Hopefully now he's free
