I'Ve Never Grown Up

as a child the crescent moon would visit me at my bedroom window his face lit up by his captivating smile we would talk hours in a row i would skateboard on his crest for quite a time in the lull of the night in the refreshing glow of the suns residue and on the full of his light then always with a wink we would say our goodbyes then always a slow vanish before the sun rise

Ahhh, how beautiful these verses..Somehow I found myself transferred to my own childhood, what wonderful memories you brought me .Even the night before I got married.I remember I was gazing at the moon for so long ,knowing I was going to start a new chapter, yet leaving another treasured chapter behind.Your poem is beautiful and fantastic. Thanks for your visit on my last humble post.
