I'Ve Been Waiting For This

As the sun sets on yet another beautiful day I sit alone outside grateful that I may Life isn't perfect and life isn't grand But you are here to hold my hand People are cruel, this we know to be true Each day is brighter, thanks to you As our hair grows grey year after year Never again will living be filled with fear Stand up and shout it to the hills and streams To the stars in the heavens and sunbeams I've been waiting for this all of my life And it happened the day I became your wife
