It's Say Anything's Fault

Youre like an unlikely temptation That i love to have around All i need is a healthy dose of meditation Where i just sit and stare at the ground But youre the only thing i want to do They could never see us through these walls Or hear us as we loudly screw While they walk down the long dark halls But even if they could wouldnt stop us Even if our neighbor threw us under the bus Even if the landlord makes a fuss There wouldnt be anything to discuss For they could go ahead and say anything* They could spout of with their various lies Because you could always hide under my wing All you have to do is stare into these eyes And we'd walk out of that place with heads held high Our steps taken like stolen from some ballet As the old grocery lady bugs us with her disgusted cry Just know that this was the highlight of my day
