It's Over
It’s Over
The turkey is cooked and eaten, the family have all gone
You just want to put your feet up, but life still carries on
The bills are due in, the resolutions already broken
There no food or money left, not even for a gift token.
The holiday adverts have started, you can go on a cruise
Or time to buy a new suite, or buy Easter eggs if you choose.
New furniture has been bought, red wine spilled on it
No need for a new year hair cut , there’s not much left of it
Frustration has caused wrinkles, debt is causing pain
But you all start saving straight away, for when Christmas comes again
