It's Not Your Fault

When he leaves you for good, Telling you that you're so wonderful, And the relationship was amazing, Giving you that old excuse: "It's not you it's ME." You may want to blame yourself, And feel you did something wrong, And pushed them out of your life. But the truth of the matter, Is that it's not your fault. No matter how much they inflict you, Trying to guilt you, And manipulate you, Into thinking you are to blame. But you are not, Because all you did was love them, And if they cannot except your love, Then they were never worth it, They were never strong enough. Don't ever blame yourself, For them hurting you, And breaking your heart. Do not let them guilt you, because it's not your fault...
