It's Best
You stepped on me,
For the last time,
I’m losing my mind,
Thinking of all the cries,
All those nights,
For all the fights,
We’ve seen,
Heaven and hell,
But who can tell,
If it’s meant to be,
When we’ll feel free,
We’re stressed,
It’s best,
For both of us as human beings,
To develop,
Not envelop,
Ourselves in this wrath,
Let’s break this path,
Of destruction,
Of this precious love,
We’ve possessed,
It’s best,
I’m out of my head,
And this body feels dead,
Without you-
I feel lifeless,
This strife is,
Eternal,
It’s best,
One day I may rise,
I would be wise,
Your footprints scathed my heart,
Another piece of your art,
I will never forget,
Though I may regret,
No love was ever true,
But I did find that in you,
It aches,
Body quakes,
Wishing you were here,
Just to touch me here,
But I try to stay strong,
When the will is wrong,
Things will pan out some day,
And daily I’ll pray,
For your safety and joy,
And that of your boy,
Every emotion writhes in me,
Like wind in a high tree,
Baby just press on,
And so will I,
It’s best.
