It's a Good Day
The sun is shinning
The birds are singing
It isn’t spring
So what’s the meaning?
I woke up happy
No reason or rhyme
It’s just one of those days
Where everything is fine
The food is cooking
We have plenty to eat
People have gathered
And there’s not an empty seat
The sound of laughter
Is loud and clear
A gentleman stands up
And points to his seat
And says “Here my Dear”
She sits down as if she’s posing for a picture
Other ladies are looking at her with a smile
She waves, they wave
And before long they all are mingling
In the crowd
I’m glad that everyone here is here
One thing that’s perfectly clear
Is that
It's a God - Good Day
