It Wasn'T You
I thought I saw you down the road dancing in the rain,
Chanting some songs back in the day theat you had once sang.
I started walking closer to see if was really you, then I started shouting your
name waiting for you to come through.
You did not answer and I couldn't tell why, so the first thing I started to do was
kneel down and cry.
My weeps and sorrows started to pour down as hard as the rain, it wasn't you I
shouted with sorrow and pain.
God took you too soon I'd tell myself everyday, but he took you for a reason and
in Heaven you m ust stay.
It wasn't you that I saw dancing in the rain, it was an Angel from above that was
telling me it will be okay.
