It Wasn'T What She Thought

Her body was slowly sinking into quick-sand, she kept reaching out for a hand. Nobody saw her, it was like she was invisible even though she was so visual. Eyes so blue, always so pure and true. Lost her innocence from a boy who only wanted the satisfaction. She knew it wasn’t love. But she was lost looking for a distraction. Always looking for help from the man above. Never a fan of sinning, little did she know she started beginning. She stopped looking for the Lord because she started to get bored. So many bottles of vodka, and shes stuck in a trauma. And when she looked in the mirror she no longer saw herself as pure. Baby bump on her belly, made her knees feel like jelly. Now shes pregnant and scared and so unprepared. Crying herself to sleep wondering how she got so deep. If you knew how she kept that smile on her face you might be amazed. In fact, you may be utterly dazed. Shes so mysterious and it makes you wonder why shes so serious. Looking for a compass feeling so loveless But if you look close enough you’ll wonder how she stays so tough.
