It Was For the Best
I said good bye,
And refused to cry,
I saw you leave,
Yet I find it hard to believe,
I saw your fear,
With that glistening tear,
It was for the best,
Despite the broken heart my chest,
I love you still,
And I maybe I always will,
I treasure our memories that was my past,
But deep down we knew it wouldn't last,
I wish you a fruitful life,
Hope you find the girl worthy of being your wife,
Don't worry life will go on,
Even though our future is none.
