It’s not often you get a chance to save a puppy from a semi Do it any way It’s not often that you get to pretend you have made up “After while crocodile” when a five-year-old says “See you later alligator” But it is lovely when it happens And they think you are the Most clever grandma in the world It is not often that you get the opportunity to not say something mean back But this is a challenge you might want to be ready to accept For it might save your friendship and your marriage It is not often that you make a cake so badly that you can roll it into balls And bounce it down the sidewalk But when they tell the story Laugh with them for some day it truly might finally seem funny Just no when you are ten.
