It Is I Who Decide
It is I Who Decide
It is I who decide
When to stop, when to go
There is no one but me
Saying yes, saying no
It’s as simple as that
I have learned this truth well
It is I who decide
Between heaven or hell
There’s no prize I can’t have
If its price I will pay
Though that price may be precious
There’s no other way
I may scream my excuses
be tossed by the tides
Or just rest on my laurels
It is I who decide
And people will tell me
I’m finished, I’ve failed
Will I let them convince me
All my dreams are derailed?
When my time here is finished
Those who care by my side;
The wise lesson to leave them?
Is it’s they who decide
The Impossible Dream’s
Within all of our reach
It’s a lesson the mighty
Often struggle to teach
It’s because it’s so simple
That’s it’s so hard to know
It’s just you who decide
When to stop, when to go
So don’t stop before reaching
The prize of your dreams
Whether love, whether riches
No matter how far it seems
Action is power
And your mind is the key
Whether winner or Loser
You choose what you’ll be.
