It Is Almost My Birthday
Oh, snap!
Have I been taking a nap?
Wake up!

It’s almost my birthday
What can I say?!
Another year of great things
Another year of big wins
Another chance to fly high
And bid failure goodbye
It’s almost my birthday!
Some might call it, my cake-day
Oh well!
My story isn’t yours to tell
My King tells it better
His Word is all that matters
Oh yes!
I have a list
My birthday list
Yes…I’m like that
I want a bank account so fat
And lots of gifts so pretty
Yes…I’m like that
So, see you on my cake-day
Sorry…my birthday
Say a prayer of love for me
And thank you for loving me
It’s almost my birthday
I’ll be a year younger…
…not older
I’ll be a year younger tomorrow
