It Is a Tale Told By An Idiot
Full quote:
“This life, which had been the tomb of his virtue and of his honour,
is but a walking shadow; a poor player, that struts and frets his hour
upon the stage, and then is heard no more: it is a tale told by an idiot ,
full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” – Macbeth
trembling, we pace the floor
worrying about things of no consequence
out, brief candle
let us break out, instead of breaking within
as the curtains are drawn
only death holds answers
when rage fills our hearts
life’s meaning is obscured
locked tombs
unattainable virtue and honor
